Greg posted this link to Pandora last week and I've been listening at work (during those fleeting kid-free moments). You can now check my favorites on the sidebar.
This is awesome!!! I love music and incorporate it all the time in my classroom. I now have the rep that I am the "cool" teacher that listens to Blink 182 and Green Day.
I actually did an assignment in my class that my kids where all over. I wanted them to have a better understanding on the songs they listen to so I made them choose a song that had a message that related to their lives somehow and then write a reflective paragraph on it. The first thing many of them found out was that when they actually learned the words to the songs they liked, they were then turned off by the song.
I wrote about it in my blog and I would simply link it here but I do not know how - hehehe http://strausser.blogspot.com/2006/01/learning-about-world-around-us.html
