So here's the deal: I just had four spam comments in a twenty minute time span. This is it, internet, I am cracking down.
Perhaps word verification will keep the spam away.

I had the same thing happen on the 18th. I also had a HUGE spike in the number of visitors to my site that day, but only 4 did spam comments. I turned on the word verification tool, and so far, so good.
How did you DO THAT?
